Madeline, the rising independent singer-songwriter from Newfoundland, is back with new music. Now available on all major streaming platforms, MESSY offers a raw, expressive sound of the pressures of a toxic relationship.
MESSY is Madeline’s second track of 2025, following the raging honesty of her February 2025 rock girl anthem Letting Go.
With a sound shaped by powerhouse influences like Avril Lavigne, P!NK, and Olivia Rodrigo, Madeline continues to carve out a bold space for herself in the modern music scene. Her blend of rock, pop, and punk reflects a fearless storytelling style inspired by icons like Alanis Morissette, resonating deeply with fans who crave authenticity.
Now 19, Madeline began performing at age 5 and released her debut self-titled EP, Madeline, in 2020 at just 15. Though the pandemic prevented live shows at the time, the EP remains available on all major streaming platforms.
Her 2024 EP, Memoir, is a raw and emotional journey through her high school years, offering a voice to those who’ve ever felt unseen. Memoir marked her return not just to the studio, but to the spotlight—with music that tells it like it is and reminds fans that she’s nobody’s Crybaby.
“MESSY” drops today May 5, 2025—a fierce new chapter in Madeline’s story.
Madeline will be performing at ECMA showcases at The Rock House
on Friday April 9 and Saturday April 10 at 11pm.
